About this project

“] Project Dates: September 2016 – August 2017

Details: Eastern Small-footed Bats are facing serious threats, like the spread of white-nose syndrome. Through the help of kids just like you, Earth Rangers and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry are working hard to protect Eastern Small-footed Bats. The donations raised for this Bring Back the Wild project are helping to:

  • Help track populations of endangered Eastern Small-footed Bats in Ontario
  • Determine critical habitat sites used for roosting

This information will help us identify important habitats to protect, and it will also help us track the spread of white-nose syndrome through populations of the rare Eastern Small-footed Bat.
